Rachel (Benjamin Shepard) La Porta; delighted grandfather to Leah, Ava, and Samantha La Porta.; son of Santo and Elizabeth La Porta; dear brother of Pat Wolf and Madeline (Paul Kaller) La Porta; predeceased by brother William (Marsha Lewis) Heald and sister Geraldine Augustine; brother-in-law to Ed (Joann) Gampp, Mary Gampp, Eileen Lew and Susanne Gampp; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Joe’s greatest satisfaction was found as Asst. Executive Director for Heritage Centers of WNY where he had worked for almost 40 years. He

leaves many close friends and coworkers to celebrate his life. Friends may call Sunday, August 10th from 2-7 PM at PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Rd., Williamsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 AM at St. Joseph’s University Parish, 3269 Main St., Buffalo. Flowers gratefully declined.
