Dear Gail and family,  I was so sorry to hear about Kevin..  I have known him since 1956 and was fortunate enough to see him at the last big Amherst reunion.  We talked a lot about you, the family and all of your activities.  He was always such a kind and gentle person with a wonderful sense of humor which showed in the movie with all of his wonderful smiles with you and the family.  My deepest  sympathies to you all.

To the McNamara family, please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss.  As a small boy, I was privileged to meet Kevin through my father, Cliff Hehr, who began work in 1966 at a small graphic design firm located upstairs in an old brick apartment residence at 625 Fargo, at Niagara.  Kevin worked then for the local Herman Miller dealer that occupied the downstairs offices.  There was very cordial interaction between the two firms in that small building, and as a precocious 10 year-old, it was always a treat for me to visit not just my dad's offices upstairs, but also with the folks downstairs, including Kevin, who was unfailingly gracious despite my interruptions.  In the mid-1980's, I visited Kevin at Millington Lockwood when his firm was located on Main Street in Williamsville, next to the Glen.  With Kevin's quiet, low-key guidance, I ultimately bought a certain Herman Miller lounge chair, in the color and wood variety that Kevin offered would provide the best investment and long-term enjoyment.  He was right.  It is now 35 years later, I still use and treasure that chair, and I'll always remember who recommended it to me.  I believe my parents stayed in touch with Kevin and Gail through the years.  I'm grateful for the friendship they shared, and am honored to have known such a kind and wise gentleman as Kevin.

 The Feolo and Christensen Family     We wish to express are deepest sympathy and heartfelt love to your entire family! The loss of a husband and father is never easy to endure. Kevin was a kind loving person and we were grateful to have known him one of Gods special people!!  

    Kevin was my wonderful brother, my hero.  He was born a leader with a grip on reality and a big heart.  He was successful in everything he pursued.  Once thing took precedent over everything else--family.  He dropped out of college to come home and marry the girl of his dreams before anyone else could ask her.   At the age of 31 he bought a business and transformed it into a diversified success and at age 50 he finished his bachelor's degree and then earned an Executive MBA and a master's degree in leadership, all while continuing as CEO of his business.  Yet family always came first and as a result, he had a very rich life.
     But Kevin will always be my hero for reasons other than his accomplishments.  He always had my back.  If someone knocked the wind out of me with a punch, Kev would have a friendly chat with the kid.  In every neighborhood and school we shared, he was The Man and he gained respect because he would watch out for anyone in need of help.  He had the knack for making the mundane into a funny story.  I depended on his excellent memory for the details of stories about our family and ancestors, which we loved to share.  When I was still in the crib, we shared a bedroom on Hastings Ave in Buffalo.  The crib was a monster and I'd look through the bars at him in his real bed and we'd play Kurr and Blah.  Kev gave us the names and you can guess which one he gave me.  In later years we couldn't remember what we were saying or playing but we remembered laughing hysterically.  I have such wonderful memories of him that are as clear and alive today as when they happened.
    From crib to old age, Kevin was and always will be my hero.

Gail, Susie, Nancy, Tim, John, Brendan, Emily, Mary Catherine and Abigail-  I have known Kevin for over 40 years and I can never begin to imagine the tremendous loss you are all feeling. As we get up in years we begin to realize that there will come a time to say goodbye  knowing that we will be re-united one day in God's home. You are blessed to have wonderful memories to share and enjoy until that day arrives. For me those memories will be of one of the finest gentlemen I have ever known. Kevin has always been the husband, father and especially grandfather that we all attempt to emulate. We never quite get to where Kevin was able to achieve, but because of him we will keep trying-Sincerely and with love-Greg Stamm

What a terrific gentlemen! I enjoyed the many conversations we had over the years....funny, to say the least. Most recently Kevin stated that "I should write a book of my many experiences traveling back and forth to Alabama in my college years".....indeed you could have. I also admired his relationship with Gail. True friends and partners! You will be sorely missed Sir!  

I am so sorry for your loss. I am so lucky I got to meet this incredible man. I remember wearing my Alabama shirt when I visited Canada, and he got all excited and told me all about how he used to play football, it was the cutest thing ever.  I will think of him every time I wear that shirt. Sending my love to you all, I know how much he meant to each and everyone of you.
