Passed away peacefully at 94 years of age on January 28, 2025.
Beloved wife of the late John Slisz; devoted mother of Camille (James) Gilligan, Julianne (David) Fusani, Georgianna Zagst, and John (Wendy). “Ma” to Brian Ksiazek. Loving grandmother of Michelle, Eric, Claire, David, Jack, Carly, and Nicholas and great-grandmother of Lorraine and Nora. Dear sister of Philomena (the late Ronald) Orcutt and the late Christine Ksiazek; sister-in-law of Dorothea (late Robert) Gielinski and Alice (late Richard). She was a devoted Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Lorraine was a long-time resident of Sloan, NY where she and her husband, John, operated Slisz Delicatessen for many years. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 9:30 am at St. Andrew's Church in Sloan, NY. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial donations may be made to Sloan Comfort Care Home, where Lorraine was lovingly cared for until her passing.
