A Message from the family:
Dear Mom,
You have always been our hero and confidante. You and Dad built a home full of laughter, respect, acceptance, love and deep appreciation for one another. You both lead by example through all of our family triumphs and challenges. And thankfully you taught us the importance of both. We understand it took sacrifice and patience to raise five kids during lean times. Yet, you always reflected on those times fondly and considered it a gift to be our Mom. Together you and Dad demonstrated the beauty of Family. Amongst our fabulous cousins, , your friends and co-workers, and our friends, a beautiful reality emerged- “In your house the door is always open, there was always an extra plate set at the table, and there was always More Love”.
You impacted others positively no matter what you were doing. You have life-long friends from the Mount, the phone company, Calspan, Queen Bees, Real Estate, local parishes, and the neighborhoods you lived in to name a few places. You treated everyone you met as an equal. You talked to people and learned what made them special. You found good in everyone.
We admire that you have stayed true to the values you learned as a child from Ma and Pa. You honored your siblings Norma, Eddy, John, Albert, George, and Frank every day in the devotion you have for them and their children. You shared the stories of the Dirrigl’s and Hutzler’s and held them close to your heart. You said you were blessed to marry into the Eagan-Miller clan and felt welcomed immediately by Bob, Catherine, Joan, and Larry. Your family grew again with beautiful nieces, Aunt, Uncles, and cousins galore. Your steadfast faith is inspirational and we tale solace in knowing you are in Heaven with everyone again. No doubt Norma, Dad, and Kathy have tears of joy being with you again.
You are the kindest, most self-less person we have ever known. Your wisdom, grace, quick wit, intellect, endless compassion, and fierce independence will be sorely missed. Nothing can replace your laugh, smile, or hug. You guided the family as we have grown with amazing partners and cherished grandchildren. There are no words to express what you mean to us.
Love you more,
Michael, Kathleen, John, Greg, and Mary Kelly
