Marianne G. Dunn

Born in Pittsburgh, PA to Mildred C (late)and Paul T Dunn (late), she earned a BS in Nursing from Duquesne University in 1966 and an MA in Nursing Administration from Iowa University in 1972. Marianne had a 32-year career with the Department of the Navy and the Department of Veterans Affairs. She worked in VA Hospitals in San Diego and San Francisco, California and as an Associate Director for Patient Care and Nursing in Connecticut, Batavia and Buffalo, NY. She became a noted expert in Nurse Staffing and Finance. She travelled extensively to other VAs in the US and enjoyed leisurely travels many countries in the world. She is survived by a devoted group of cousins and their families in Pittsburgh, her adoring adopted family in Williamsville and her neighbors and friends. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8PM at the PERNA DENGLER ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME 1671 Maple Road, Williamsville NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30AM at Saint Gregory the Great Church 200 St Gregory Ct, Williamsville, NY. Please assemble at the Church. Entombment will be on Tuesday September 10 at Christ Our Redeemer Northside Cemetery 204 Cemetery Ln, Pittsburgh, PA at 11:30AM. Flowers gratefully acknowledged.
