BAIN - Marjorie Alice

"Marge" (nee Zent)

Peacefully on July 5, 2015. Marge, as

she was known by her friends and family,

lived independently for seven years

after the death of her devoted husband,

William Andrew Bain Jr., in June 2008.

At the end of May Marge became a

resident at Absolut Care in East Aurora,

where she was lovingly cared for

through her last weeks. Marge and Bill

were married December 7, 1946 in Los

Alamos, NM, where both worked on

the Manhattan Project. They returned

to the Buffalo area to raise their three

children: William Edward Bain (Emily),

Cheryl Lynne Bain (Al Cantos) and Sandra

Bain Cushman (Stephen). Marge

is also survived by her niece Patricia

Lynn Stein and her nephew Gary Michael

Stein and by her grandchildren

Eric Gartenman (Jocellyn) of Binghamton,

NY, Samuel Cushman of Santa

Cruz, CA, Simon Cushman of Signal

Mountain in the Grand Tetons and

Samantha Williams, Sidney Williams,

Sterling Chace, Sarina Chace and Sadie

Chace, all of Freedom, NY. Marjorie

was predeceased by her sister, Mary

Elizabeth Stein, and her mother and

father Emma Laux Zent and Edward

George Zent. No prior visitation. Burial

was in Harris Hill Cemetery, Clarence,

NY, where the family held a private

graveside service. Arrangements by
