Martin J. Hens

HENS, Martin Joseph, August 13, 2025. Beloved husband of Mary (Wissert) Hens; Son of the late Bartholomew F. and Patricia J.(Torrens) Hens; dear brother of Kathryn M. (Sam) Hens-Greco and the late "Bart" B. Francis Hens, Jr. Son-in-law of Mrytle B. Wissert; brother-in-law of George W. and Brien L.(Lynn) Wissert. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Martin was a graduate of Canisius High School (1981) and Le Moyne College (1985). He was a Navy veteran, serving 1986-1990. After serving, Martin worked for the VA helping veterans to receive much-needed benefits. Martin was a long-time restaurant manager serving as a mentor to many young people over the years. His faith was important to him, and he lived it by serving in many capacities including his church choir. Family will be present to receive friends for Memorial Visitation on Thursday September 4 from 3-6PM at the PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Rd.
