DOWLING - Michael V. September 23, 2022. Beloved husband of 53 years to Carolyn (nee Kucharski) Dowling; loving father of Todd M., Daniel P. and Brian T. (Cynthia) Dowling; dear grandfather of Nicholas, Ryan, Taylor and Grace Dowling; son of the late Francis and Margaret Dowling; brother of the late Kathleen (John) Healy and Patricia Michael; also survived by nieces and nephews; brother-in-law of Charles (Sandra) Kucharski. Family and friends may call on Friday, September 30, from 4-8 PM at PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Rd., Williamsville, NY 14221. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 1, at 10:30 am St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church, 200 St. Gregory Court, Williamsville, NY 14221. Please assemble at Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Michael’s memory to St. Mary’s School for the Deaf, where he served as principal and was on their Board of Directors. He was an Adjunct Professor of Deaf Education at Canisius College for 36 years and Speech Pathologist at National Technical Institute of the Deaf (NTID) on the campus of RIT.
