To Mike's family, I share my condolences. Mike was my very first roommate when I was dating Russ. I'll never forget the times we shared in that tiny little apartment on Elmwood.  He was always such a kind hearted soul and I hope he is at peace. Always remembered and never forgotten 💜

When I first moved to Buffalo, Mike was one of the first people I really got to know. He was always so kind. I remember the first time meeting him. He walked up to me after school one day and just started a conversation. We didn’t know anything about each other but we talked like we were old friends. It was amazing. As the years went on, we’d check in with each other. I’m going to miss him and the random conversations we had in the past. 

To his family, I’m so sorry for your loss. He was an amazing person. His memory will live on.

Mike was the one person growing up who I really felt understood me. He was my best friend. The person I knew would always be there for me. Younger than me in years but always seemed to be much wiser. I don't know where I would be or the person id have become without him in my life. I will always carry him with me. Those days being kids in the basement, just really actually enjoying life and wach others company. I will always cherish them. Rest easy my friend, I love you, always.

I met Mike at my first job, he helped show me the ropes, was always kind and could easily make others smile and laugh. Although I lost touch with him after leaving the restaurant business over a decade ago, I’ll always remember him and the laughs we all shared. Keeping his family and friends in my prayers, Rest In Peace Mike.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Mike's passing.  Over the last couple of years, I had the pleasure of seeing him each month at the Irishman, and always appreciated his professionalism, warmth and genuine kindness.   His presence will be greatly missed.

Mike helped me get on my feet in a very hard time during my life. I always saw him as someone who took everything in stride. He always exuded extreme confidence, but without arrogance, which made it easy to call him a friend. We had lost touch over the years, but I was always happy to hear from or see him when we would run in to each other at rugby related gatherings. I would not be where I am now without having him in my life.

Mike got me my first ever job, one of the first people to congratulate me on my driver's permit, and one of the half dozen guys that I grew up with helping raise me. Wish I had gotten more time to spend with him and I wish he didn't have to leave.  One hell of a guy and a good friend.

There are no words that could possible express how sorry I am for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.  I will always be here for you no matter how big or how small.  I love you guys!

To Mikes family , Tia , and friends - I am incredibly saddened to hear this news. I am thinking and praying for you all in this difficult time.

From the moment I met Mike at the Local on Chippewa we hit it off. From him saying that I lived there to him trying to explain soccer to me, I realized that he was an exceptional young man. Mike I'm going to miss you deeply #mayonnaiseandtacos. Love ya! Daphne
