Paul E. Blarr, of Amherst, entered into rest on November 7, 2021 at age 97. Beloved husband of 66 years to Margaret “Peggy” (nee Hoeflich) Blarr; devoted father of Greg (Beth), Jeff (Donna), Tim, Brian (Paulette) and Paul (Nicole) Blarr; cherished grandfather of Ashlee, Megan, Olivia, Audrey, Kenneth, Reagan and Sydney; adored great-grandfather of William; dear brother of four siblings; also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Mr. Blarr was a veteran of the US Army and served during WWII. He worked for 45 years at Marine Midland Bank and retired in 1987. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Leo the Great Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Leo the Great Church, 885 Sweet Home Rd., Amherst, on Friday (November 12, 2021) at 10:30am. Flowers gratefully declined.
