The Wirth family offers our condolences to all of the Matres and Pallet Services people for theirs and  our loss. A person of his quality of character will be hard to find.

I have been the better human since meeting Ronnie and becoming friends with him and his family. The many stories relating to football games, charity work, social activity and later on, christian fellowship has been a fulfilling experience..

I know he has touched many peoples lives and because of this , I pray for his acceptance into rhe promised land where his parents and he can reunite.

Our past joyful times and many laughs that they generated can only have me smile and tell everybody that we didn't lose a joyful person but gained a happy soul who expects us to celebrate rather mourn his farewell. "The Man In Black" will surely embrace him.

The words don't come easy as they hardly seem adequate - Ron had a way of making people feel like he had known them forever. Each time we met it was as though no time had passed. He is a shining, loving soul. 
I am so sorry for your loss but am confident that you will all be together in your grief, sharing love and memories and carrying a little piece of "Ronnie" with you always.

Penny and I just saw Ron in December in Jupiter. We had such a great time catching up talking about the past and looking forward to the future in Jupiter Bay together. I am so sorry for your loss. You’re all very blessed to have life long memory’s of him. They will never leave you. May he rest in peace. We will meet again my brother. Love you!!!!

I met Ron in a 2nd grade front-yard brawl, on the corner of Tremont and Wilbur.   It wouldn’t be expected that he’d still be one of my best friends almost 50+ years later,  my daughter’s Godfather, and Best Man at Lulu’s and my wedding.

Through this brawl, I was blessed by meeting him and growing up with his awesome family.

Dear Matre Family- So sorry to hear of Ron’s passing into eternity! I remember him well from my years at St. Gregory’s, especially when he made Mission Renewal. He was a kind man, a joy to know. I’ll remember his soul in my Masses!

I’m very sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I remember working with Ron, Don and Tom (and Tracy) at the pallet shop.  I’ll never forget hearing Ooo-La-La-Lafontaine coming from Ron.  Those were great times.
