Beloved husband of 65 years to Jeannette (Grenier); Loving father to Michael (Janice), Russell (Suzanne) Paternostro, Ann (Joseph) Sorrentino, Lisa (Nicholas) Calabretta and Terri (Paul) O'Brien; Cherished grandfather of Michelle, Deanna (Brett), Jenna, Michael, Cristina (Derek), Rosie (Zach), Anthony (Amy), Mark, James (Fiance Alex),Michael, Julee (Bryan) Justyna, Connor and Erin; loving great grandfather of Keegan, Carson, Ellie, Evelyn, Christian, Alaina and Eli. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends. Family will be present to receive friends on Sunday October 27 from 1-4 PM at the PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Road. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated from St. John The Baptist Church on Monday at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers donations in Russells name may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Russ was a member of the Virginia Street Butler Mitchell Boys Club, Knights of Columbus in Kenmore and a avid golfer, and bowler.
