Of Williamsville, New York. Loving husband of 39 years to Marilyn R. Haumesser. Dearest father of Brendon A. (Sarah) McMahan. Beloved grandfather of Penelope and Rowan. Also survived by two aunts, and an uncle, many nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was predeceased by his parents Donald L. and Maxine McMahan. Born in Springfield, OH, Mr. McMahan was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam era, attaining the rank of E-5 Second Class Petty Officer. He earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Maine and a master’s degree from University at Buffalo. He served as a social worker for 22 years including ECMC, Northern Erie Clinical Services and the Buffalo VA Medical Center. Visitation will be held at Following Jesus at Harris Hill Global Methodist Church, 8495 Main St. in Williamsville at 10 am on Saturday, January 3, 2026 with a Celebration of Life Service to follow.
