Thomas M Canazzi

Loving partner of 30 yrs. to Jeffrey Mills. Dear father of Laurel (Kirk) Carr, grandfather of Audrey and Nate Carr. Dear brother of Paul (Barb) Canazzi, Bernie Swanigan (Russ Rosettani) and the (late John Swanigan), Kathy (Rod) Hunter, and Richard (Patty) Canazzi; son of the late Thomas and Rita Canazzi; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 29th at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Grace Episcopal Church (51 Colonial Circle), Buffalo N.Y. 14222. Thomas was an educator and taught for over 30 years in Buffalo Public Schools. He taught at the Buffalo Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, teaching English and Theatre. When he was young, he was active in starring in the local theatre productions. He then directed numerous musical theatre productions receiving the Kenny Award in 1995 for outstanding overall production for the King and I. He retired from teaching in 2002. He was a member of St. John’s Grace Episcopal Church for many years.
