I just learn about Gie's passing away yesterday and I did not want to believe it not until this morning when my daughter got the information in the internet.Gie has been very close to me during our premed years.I used to go with her to her home and we continued our friendship after we both finished our residency and my whole family loved her when she comes to visit us and when we visit her.I will missed her but I know she is in peace and she is so generous that God has surely given her all His blessing.

I am deeply saddened by Gie's passing.  We were dorm mates when we were at the UP College of Medicine. She was kind, warm, funny ... a fine and true friend. Gie will always be in my prayers.  God is so good in giving her a peaceful death.  I grieve with her family and all her UPCM Class'72-A classmates. I asked my brother Butch from Elmira, NY, to attend her funeral in my place.

Even as Gie died suddenly, we rest in the thought that she died peacefully, w/out the various tubes inserted into Gie's body. We offer our prayers in Holy Mass that Gie finds peace in God's loving embrace!

We were so shocked and saddened when we heard about Virginia. We were out of town, but know that you were and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.  She was such a kind and beautiful person and will be missed by all.

I am a Veteran and member of the Dorothy Kubik/Katherine Galloway Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 12097, and I wish to extend my condolences to the family of Dr. Trinidad.  I thank my Comrade for her service to our country.

Dr. Trinidad was a superb, caring and dedicated physician.I had the greatest admiration for her.I hope she enjoyed to the fullest these last few years.Her family has had a significant loss and I offer my sincere sympathy to them.

Regrettably I am away on family leave at this time.

“I was saddened to read of Dr. Trinidad's untimely passing. I worked with Virginia for many years on the Medical Service at the VAMC. My association with Virginia began when she came to the VA as a resident. She was an excellent resident and upon completion of her training, she was asked to join the medical staff as a full-time physician.  Virginia was a compassionate physician who was dedicated to providing the best medical care for her patients and a true advocate for the veterans and their families. She will be missed."

I am saddened to learn of Virginia's passing. She was a kind, considerate and benevolent human being and also a good friend. My condolences to her family.
