Agnes Bridget Kelly

Agnes Bridget Eileen Kelly, 90, long-time Glenview resident, died February 14, 2012, of natural causes in hospice care. A native Chicagoan, Ms. Kelly grew up on the West Side. As a young woman, Ms. Kelly modeled and sang professionally with her sister, Virginia, in local Chicago clubs during the Big Band era. Ms. Kelly worked in Chicago for many years for the International Stereotypers' & Electrotypers' Union and, later, for the Winnetka School District. An avid golfer, she also enjoyed skeet shooting and fishing vacations with friends, including a wilderness trip to the Arctic Circle. Ms. Kelly was preceded in death by her brothers, James (Helen Boehnert) and William, sisters, Catherine and Mary (John Walsh), and nephew, Terence Patrick Michel. She is survived by her sister, Virginia Kelly Michel (Roy), her nieces, Mary Patricia and Catherine Michel, Mary Anne Walsh, and Colleen and Maureen Kelly, her nephews, Kevin Kelly, Roy and Kelly Michel, and David, Michael and John Walsh, their spouses, children and grandchildren and numerous cousins. Memorial visitation Friday, February 17, 2012, 11:00 am to time of memorial service, 12:00 noon, at Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home, 1100 Greenleaf Avenue, Wilmette, Il. 60091.
