They say this thread is open permantly. ALice and my sister, Mary Beth, were friends at AHS. We were friends of the family. Alice was a cheerleader at Asheville High. Her sister, Rebecca, graduated fourth in the class of 1974 at AHS. That I do remember.

to alice's family...i am late to to this but still so sad. alice and i were classmates at kellogg together. we laughed that we were the token women from the south and struggled together with culture shock/academic challenges!!! after graduation we went different ways BUT it was Alice I have always had to thank for encouraging a fellow classmate to call me. That classmate has been my husband for the last 30 years. I remember running on Green Bay trail one morning when I heard footsteps behind me. I turned to see Alice fast approaching.
