To Professor Goldberg's Family,

I was searching on google to see if I could find Barth and sadly learned of his passing.

I want you to know that Professor Goldberg changed my life. If it wasn't for Barth I would not have made it through Southwestern. He helped me "break the code" and showed me that I needed to discuss every element. This approach helped me in every class I took. I ended up taking every class Barth taught. Crim Law, Crim Procedure, Community prop. Forensics. He was the man. I was reaching out to him to tell him thank you and that I loved him. He was simply the best. With Love and sorry for your loss,

To the Goldberg family,

I just want to say I'm very sadden after hearing about the death. I was lucky and honered to meet Mr Goldberg he left his mark on me the moment I met him. The Harris family Denver,CO

To the Goldberg family especially Barry. On behalf of the late Dr. Frank Baker;s family, I Dr Baker's widow, Mary Baker Baar, would like to extend my deepest sympathies.  When Barth meets Frank in heaven...well, who knows what could happen! a

Anti and family I defended a number of case prosecuted by Barry. In a deposition or in court he was a warrior for his clients. After we would go to lunch and he would regale me with stories of his life and stories of his wonderful family. He also used his wisdom to provide me with life advise. Once in Boston after a deposition he took me to the best restaurant in town. We spent 3 hours having one of the best afternoons of my life. He will be missed .

Karen and I were shocked and deeply saddened to learn about Barth.Barth was a friend. Every time we spoke at the train station or at court, before discussing our profession, Barth talked about his beautiful and loving wife, amazing children and his brother Barry. He was always interested in how our family was doing. His warmth, humor and intellect will be sorely missed.

I am still stunned by your loss, Jeremy. I loved getting to know you this past semester; you made teaching a joy. Learning of your father's death left me in great sadness. All of you Goldbergs surely will be in my heart in the days ahead.

I was terribly saddened by the news of Barth's passing. He was one the kindest, gentlest persons I have known. I will miss him. To Angie, and Barth's family, my most heartfelt condolences.

My sincerest condolences to Bart and the entire Goldberg family on the loss of of Barth(I just learned of his passing). He was an old friend from the days at LeMoyne Elementary School, Waveland Park and the University of Miami.

We are saddened by this terrible loss.  Barth taught us so much and made us who we are today.  It has been a privilege to work with him.  He made everyone around him perform better.  And the beaming transformation he had when he talked about his family still makes me smile today.  May that love bring you comfort.

My condolence to the entire family for their loss. Barth was a great pleasure to work for & I will miss him very much. I have great memories for the past 19 years that I had known him.

Ah, Barth, the ultimate Renaissance Man. You didn't just have knowledge of Literature, Fine Art, Fine Wine, all things Legal, History, Swimming, Acting, Musical Comedy, Creative Writing, Religion, Interpersonal Relationships, Parenting, Husbanding, and so much more, you WERE THESE THINGS! And those of us who were fortunate enough to have known you benefited immeasurably by your knowledge, wisdom, sense of humor, and overall sense of style and class. 
Everyone knows that Barth's greatest joy in life came from his family: Angie and the kids were the light of his life. My heartfelt condolences to all of you, and, of course, to Barry.

On behalf of the Wheeler family I would like to offer our condolence to Angie, their children, and their relatives on the passing of Barth.

We extend our deepest sorrow to a family I cherish.  Barth was an intellect and refreshingly told it like it was.  First and foremost, he adored his family.  He will be missed by many.  May you all be blanketed by the love your extended family and friends bestow upon you during this difficult time.

 Barth was the most inspiring, kind hearted, open and beautiful man God has ever put on this earth. He exuded a happiness and joy that brightened even my darkest of days. His passion to live life to the fullest and hilarious stories of his past made every work day seem like a holiday with family. I will miss him dearly and I am truly heartbroken that I will never hear that treasured laugh again. I thank God that I had the great privilege of working with such a kind and wonderful man.

We will always remember Barth for the complex,challenging,brilliant and entertaining bigger than life presence he was.Above all else he adored his family.We extend our condolences to the Goldberg family along with prayers to help them through this difficult time.May his memory be a blessing.
