Beverly Delores Rosen

Beverly "Babs" Rosen nee Wilens, 97, passed away peacefully on Nov. 13, 2022. Born Dec. 6, 1924, in Chicago, Illinois. Longtime resident of Flossmoor, Illinois and Chicago, Illinois. Babs is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Morton Rosen, her parents Edward and Rose Wilens, brother Chuck Wilens, sister-in-law Norma Wilens, and son in law Dan George. Babs' love of life and ever-present humor lives on through her children Randy (Jeannie) Rosen, Scott (Nancy) Rosen, and Jackie Rosen-George; grandchildren Samantha (Erik Johnson), Erik, Courtney and Haley (Chris Happ), Robbie, Mike and Zach George ; and great-grandchild Gunnar Johnson.

Babs was a proud graduate of the University of Illinois in Champaign. She loved to ski, hike and golf and spent many happy years with family and friends in Aspen, Colorado. She was an avid reader, theatergoer and playwright, as well as an enthusiastic member of the Chicago Dramatist organization. Bab’s warm and vivacious spirit leaves a legacy of love and joy to all who knew her.
