

Charlotte Gould, age 97, a sixty plus year resident of Skokie, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 14th, 2024. Charlotte was a beloved member of the community and will be forever remembered for her loving nature and her profound impact on the lives she touched. She embraced life's challenges while always striving to be the best version of herself. She will be dearly missed by many family members and friends.
Charlotte had an innate ability to make those around her feel accepted and loved. Her home was a place of laughter, joy, and love. She embraced the values of hard work, kindness, and loyalty that defined the type of close-knit community that she cherished. Charlotte found joy in building lasting relationships and connecting with people from all walks of life. Her compassionate nature extended not only to friends and family, but to the community as well.
Words cannot fully capture the impact Charlotte Gould had on the lives she touched, but her legacy of love, compassion, and kindness will live on. May her passing remind us to embrace every moment and to cherish the relationships that are dear to our hearts.
Charlotte was the beloved wife of the late Jack "Manny" Gould; loving mother of Ava Gould, Bill Gould and the late Fred (Barbara) Gould; proud grandmother of Alexis Gould; caring sister of the late Daniel Bolotin.
Friends and family will gather for a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 18th, 2024 at Weinstein and Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette, IL 60091. Burial will follow services at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 West Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
Immediately following burial, please join the family for lunch at Walker Brothers, 825 Dundee Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
Shiva will be held at Weinberg Community for Senior Living - CJE SeniorLife aka Gidwitz Place, front address at 1551 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield, IL 60015 from 5 - 8 p.m. on Monday, March 18th, 2024.
