Dr. Herbert E. Natof, 96, beloved husband of the late Mirium “Mimi”; loving father of Ellen (Ron) Houchens, David (Tammy) Natof, and Laura (Jeff) McDonald; cherished grandfather of Sarah (Rob) Schafer, Sam McDonald, Alex McDonald, Cody Natof, and Dr. Tyler Natof; great grandfather of Charlotte, Oliver, and Grace; dear brother of Barbara (Bob) Paget and the late Stuart (Margaret) Natof; also survived by many cousins, friends, and very special companion, Myrna Ender. A retired physician, Herbert served as a captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 13, 1:30 PM at Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 W. Montrose Ave, Norridge, IL 60706. Contributions may be made to Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation, www.damonrunyon.org or a charity of your choice.
Shiva will follow the service from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Hospitality Room, 1220 Rudolph Drive, 3rd Floor, Northbrook, IL 60062.
