my father worked in the same building  with jerry  . at 29 east downtown  he was allways there when we needed him he was a great man  now I better not get in to trouble   or stay away from trouble because I don't have Jerome to get me out of it there was no one I mean no one like him  jerry you are going to be missed  I also lost my sister last year  he always made jokes with her he was a nice lawyer . i was very sad when i found this out i do remember one thing  he was never with out his cigar jerry treated us like friends not his client we will miss you jerry  .thoughts  and prayers go out to his family .

Jerome Feldman is the greatest lawyer that ever lived during my acquaintance with him.  Not once did he lose a case for me, but was there for me as a friend and mentor.  I used his services for every legal issue in my life and not once did he disappoint me.  He truly was a great man, smart, thoughtful, considerate and unique in his own way.  He spoke to me during my issues like a friend and not a client.  I will truly miss him and that cigar. God will have great legal counsel now.  Love you Jerry!

I am sorry I was out of town for the funeral. J F was my mentor, partner and friend.  I will miss his warmth and wit.

My brother Jerry was the best son a mother could have.  He took care of our mother for 17 years after our father passed away.  He would go to her house after work, check on her, shop for her, pay her bills, do her taxes, make sure the house was kept.  
When I was young and it was his turn to babysit, he'd take me out to the corner where the corner boys hung out and buy me hot fudge sundaes.  He took me to Riverview and we went on all the rollercoasters except the Bobs.  I think he took me so he could tell his friends that his little sister was afraid of the Bobs.
Every summer for 12 years I took my three children to Chicago and he would play with them and buy them all kinds of toys.
When Uncle Mike led tours to Las Vegas, Jerry and some of the corner boys would be there and we'd be eating Lazar's pastrami around the pool.  We had some good time.
Jerry always was there if someone needed money or support.  He represented a lot of clients who couldn't pay.  
When he was 11 or 12 he got polio and he was in ICU for 3 weeks.  He couldn't sit, stand, walk or swallow and I thought he was on an  iron lung but he said it was oxygen.  He came home and he fought to regain his strength.  He studied at home and walked  on the bars.  They had to put hot wool packs on his muscles and he never complained.  And he walked again and he exercised all his life but he got post polio and was in pain but he never gave up.  When I was in the hospital last year, he texted my husband almost every week and he prayed for me.  
I feel so bad that I wasn't strong enough to make it to the funeral but I am very proud of Eddie, David and Sally for speaking.
He was a mensch.

It is hard to think of a world without my cousin Jerry. He was larger than life, and he was so great a part of the fabric of our family. I pray for strength for all of those who knew and loved him, as we mourn this painful loss.

Sherman family, my deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved father and grandfather. I truly regret not being able to be there today to support you in this time of sorrow.
