

Karen Jaimovich was born October 12, 1954 in Evanston, Illinois to the late Sara and Irvin Jacobson and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 14th, 2024 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Karen was the beloved wife of David Jaimovich; loving mother of Lisa (Mitch) Hamer, Lauren (Ethan) Quinn and Monica (Andrew) Sloan; proud grandmother of Aiden and Penelope Hamer; dear sister of Patty Jacobson and the late James (Mindy) Jacobson; caring aunt of Jonathan Jacobson and Max (Becky) Jacobson.
Karen's life was marked by her profound love for her family, particularly her three daughters, Lisa, Lauren, and Monica, whom she considered her greatest achievements.
Karen shared a wonderful marriage of 37 years with her beloved husband, David. Their bond was a testament to love, partnership, and mutual respect, and was evident to anyone who encountered the two of them together.
For over 40 years, Karen served as a devoted nurse in the operating room at Northwestern Medicine.
Known for her generosity and kind-hearted nature, Karen had a special love for desserts, and an undeniable obsession with dogs, particularly Bernese Mountain Dogs. Her infectious smile and radiant personality lit up every room she entered, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Karen's legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched and the love she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the honor of crossing paths with her.
