Dear Mother,Well,It's been nearly a year at least with the jewish calendar.I'm in my second round of griefsource group sessions one for you and one for dad.I've done canvas pics,redesign of heirloom jewelry and now trying to distribute the home movies properly.You'd be so proud of the organizing of your papers, documents, photos, and just all your stuff.Mom I'm still doing family research despite your disinterest in it.Your new gravestone is marvelous and your first cousin and best friend did attend your funeral.Your spirit lives on with your son's future plans for his grandkids and with me and just repurposing and making your memory shine on.You're loved mom and I know you much more due to all the documents you left ...

Mom, It's been seven or 8 months now with mother's day only a few weeks away.This year will be no deciding who to visit first on mother's day.Your ex husband john my father passed april 21,2017,so now both your son and daughter are mourning both you and dad at mother's day and next month father's day.We'll rededicate your new grave stone next fall 2017.This is my third message in your guest book,but I just wanted to say you're remembered and loved very much!!!! your daughter Karen

Mom,Your dresser handle slammed loudly this afternoon at your apt.I nearly choked up with tears feeling your pain your last weekend on earth while driving north on the tollway.You always said I'd cry buckets for you when you die,so far I've held your proud,strong memory in check.There will be a time that your quirky demands of how you want things to go here or there will be shouted to the highest of high.For now your memory,the respect,and fulfilling long time wishes are now a reality.The ones who called you periodically are being noted.Your spirit within me is live and well.My artistic flair will capture all the whimsical loves you once wore.... Dear Brian, David, Karen, and families,
Marion was my 1st cousin, born a year after me.  We were named after our grandmother, Marion Fanny.  
Marion was a beautiful woman. Stunning.

I have wonderful memories spending Thanksgiving dinners at the Covenant Club with Marion, Uncle Henry, Aunt Bert, and the rest of the Brownstein family.  

Later in life,  Marion and I re-connected, enjoyed lunch together and a little shopping. 

It's these memories that I think of when I think of my cousin Marion.

They say everyone leaves a legacy when they leave this Earth. After hearing the remarks at the funeral, it was clear what Marion's legacy is...it's her family. 

Marion lived to know of the three generations, who live on to honor her memory and to continue the Goldstein-Brownstein line. What a blessing!

David, you spoke so beautifully of your mother, it is a pleasure to know her through your loving words.

Karen, what can I say about a daughter so devoted? You are a special woman, dear cousin. All you do to bring family together is a grand and glorious mitzvah that has given pleasure to so many of us honors your mother in the best possible way.

Marion's spirit lives on as she rests in peace.

Dear mom, I loved your appearance in spirit today when the burial workers struggle to wheel and place your coffin's lid on to it's area for lowering.Also the trouble you caused the workers getting the equipment off.Your will said no workers anywhere near your ceremony and grave site,but the cemetery didn't adhere,But your way got the point across muddy,heavy,loose wood boards,running into the edge of another neighboring grave with rubber wheels is not a great sight.The black ants on me was a sign too!!! Mom you were embraced at dinner tonight with everyone's best memory of you and even brian was happy you let him use your hardly driven ford when he was 16.Thanks mom be at peace love always, your daughter karen
