Mildred “Millie” Weinberg, 95, of Northbrook, IL, beloved wife of the late Peter Weinberg; loving mother of Debbie (Rick) Atlas; cherished grandmother of Maddie; adored twin sister of Camille Bass Paddor, and sister to the late Caroline (late Robert) Di Luia and the late Rosalie (late Andrew) Belford; treasured daughter of Catherine and Alexander Rago.
Millie and her twin sister enjoyed a long career in the modeling and trade show industry beginning at the age of thirteen. They worked at many conventions, trade shows and fashion shows in Chicago and around the country. A second very exciting and successful career followed in the real estate business on the northshore of Chicago.
Millie’s departure comes as a deep wound to her family and others who loved her. She was a true friend to many and will remain forever in our hearts and memories.
Visitation Thursday, June 27, 10:30 AM until time of mass 11:00 AM at St. Norbert Catholic Church, 1809 Walters Road, Northbrook, IL 60062. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
