Richard J. Rappaport, age 78, died Sunday, Feb.6, after a 3 year battle with Dementia and Lung Cancer. Ten year resident of Grand Dominion, Mundelein, IL, and before that, life long resident of West Rogers Park, Chicago. For 56 years, beloved husband and best friend of Roberta (nee Diamond). Devoted father of Michael H. Rappaport of Milwaukee, WI, and Barbara M. Rappaport (Larry Davis, M.D.) of Antioch, IL. Loving grandfather of Noah and Parker Davis and Granddog, Sahara. Son of the late Max Rappaport and the late Dorothy Rappaport; brother of the late Bernard Rappaport; brother in law of Susan Rappaport and Scott (Varda) Diamond; uncle, great-uncle, and cousin of many. Graduate of Senn H.S. (1961) and Loyola Univ. School of Law (1967). One time managing partner of Ross & Hardies LLP, now McGuire Woods LLP.
