Robert S. Goodman

Robert S. Goodman, PhD, 77, of Glencoe. Beloved husband of 35 years to Dr. Roberta Goodman (nee Louis); devoted father of Shoshana and Evan Goodman; loving son of the late Sonnie and Gingy Goodman; dear brother of Judy Goodman; caring son-in-law of Judy (late Maynard) Louis; cherished brother-in-law of Margo Louis and Jennifer (Steve) Leventhal; adoring dog-dad of Connor and the late Natalie; treasured uncle and cousin of many. Bob received his Bachelor's from Wisconsin, Master's in Film from Iowa, and Doctorate of Business from Minnesota. He was a well-liked business professor at multiple universities throughout his career. He loved cars, classic movies, and White Sox baseball. Bob was very involved at his spiritual home North Suburban Synagogue Beth El, and will be deeply missed by all. A memorial service will be held Weds, Oct. 12, 3 PM at North Shore Congregation Israel, 1185 Sheridan Rd. Condolences to follow, interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Suburban Synagogue Beth El Continuing Education Fund or the North Shore Congregation Israel Meyer Shisler Scholarship Fund.
