Jay Luera, age 90, of Carson, California passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Jay was born November 20, 1930 in Los Angeles, California.

Jay is survived by his wife, Carol L. Luera; son Anthony Luera; son Robert Luera; son Jay Luera; and daughter Mynde Luera.

Jay was preceded in death by daughter Rene Bullock.

Grandchildren: Terry, Kate, Anthony, Robert, Shaun, Jay, Tim, Lauren, Raj, and Alyssa.

Great Grandchildren: Payge, Braeyln, Victory, Milanya, Jayden, Evan, Evangeline, Jaxson, Jacob, Dahlia, Luka, and Colleen.

A rosary service for Jay will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 3:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St Peter & St Paul Catholic Church, 515 W Opp St, Wilmington, California 90744. A reception to follow will occur Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Elk Lodge, 1748 Cumbre Dr., San Pedro, CA.
