28, 2023, 13 days shy of her 70th birthday. We are all devastated by
the loss of this beautiful and loving woman. She will be greatly
missed by all who know her.
Linda passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones after a short
battle with cancer. Born in Los Angeles, California, on March 13, 1953. As
the eldest sister in her family, Linda naturally fit in a guardian role. As she
grew into her passion and career in Human Resources, she continued her
love for people and humanity. Wherever she went throughout life, she created
many strong bonds with animals, always valuing the life of an animal as equal to a
human. Linda enjoyed traveling for the majority of her life, traveling
throughout the U.S., from cruises to breathtaking Alaska to road trips
in the desert of New Mexico and California. Linda had a special
connection with Joshua Tree, having enjoyed her childhood through
adulthood, frequently visiting the giant rocks and oddly shaped
cactuses.
Linda is survived by her husband, Armando Landeros, children Armando
and Angela Landeros; grandchildren, David, Andrew, Priscilla, and
Michael; her ten great-grandchildren; and her five siblings, Tommy
Herrera, Toni Herrera Alvarez, Silvia Alvarez, Joe Herrera, and Dorothy
Cocca.
