Maria Stella Grissom Avila, age 71, a life time resident of Wilmington, CA., passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020. Stella was born December 28, 1948, in Los Angeles, California. Stella attended and graduated from Banning High School.

Stella is survived by son Ricardo Gamez Jr. (Lorraine Mendoza); daughter Elizabeth Garcia (Raul Garcia); daughter Tanya Hernandez (Allen Borja); and son Michael Hernandez.

Grandchildren: Melissa, Eric, Breanna, Selena, Michael, Matthew (R.I.P), Sarah, VioletRain, Gabriel, Naomi, Jacob, Jaylene, Penny Lane and IndigoCloud Storm Great-Granchildren: Hailey and Ian

She preceded in death by her parents Alfonso Avila and Aurelia Jimenez and her brother Albert Avila.
