Pete Tomas Martinez

Pete Martinez, age 47 from Wilmington, CA. Born on November 17, 1970 in Wilmington, CA. Passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Raised by his mother Martha Grajeda Torres and father Jesus Torres. Welcomed into heaven by his older sister Sylvia and younger brother Martin. Pete was the oldest brother of Arthur, David, Jesus Jr., Veronica, Martha Jr., Salvador and Tony. Pete was a loving and caring father to Nicole, Pete Jr., Daniel, Raymond, Andrew and Adam Martinez. For many years Pete was the only one out of his siblings to have kids and was so excited when he found out he was going to be an uncle. Now leaving behind his nieces Audryna, Emma and nephews Ricardo Jr. and Emilio. For many who knew Pete knows that he lived through a lot. He was a survivor and overcame many obstacles including learning to walk, talk and eat. No matter who you were Pete always offered a good laugh and his kind heart. We can share many memories of Pete and his crazy ways but will always remember him as being a family man who truly enjoyed his life to the fullest.

On behalf of the Martinez and Torres family we would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for your support and presence in our time of grief. Pete’s memorial services will take place on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel 1640 N. Avalon Blvd., Wilmington, CA 90744 from 5pm – 9pm.
