Alice M. Copenhaver

Alice Melvin Copenhaver, age 53 of Wilmington, NC received her Angel Wings on February 4, 2011. Alice was born January 29, 1958 in Garland, NC. She has touched many people’s hearts with her loving and compassionate nature. She enjoyed gardening, exercising and traveling. Most of all, she loved her children and family. She loved her career as a medical assistant and her co workers at Glen Meade OBGYN Clinic. Alice is the daughter of Rose Melvin and the late Druward Melvin of Wilmington.

Survivors include her Fiance’: Bennie Justice; her daughter: Angela Copenhaver and son Terry Copenhaver. Her sister: Wanda James and brother Eddie Melvin, one niece, several nephews and Her loving dog Callie and grand dog, Lola-Rose also survive.

Funeral Service for Alice will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday February 7, 2011 from Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Chapel Oleander Drive with Pastor Tom Male to officiate.

In lieu of flowers donations are asked to made to the Pender County Humane Society, 1407 NC Hwy 53 W, Burgaw, NC 28425.
