Annie Ruth Thompson George

She was born in Wilmington on January 22, 1943 to the late Jack Williams and Arneeta Thompson. She is preceded in death by her husband Rudolph George and a sister, Gail Barnett.

She was a pastor for many years and was affiliated with Miracle Rock Ministries of Castle Hayne. Annie attended UNCW and later obtained her Theology Degree.

She is survived by daughters, Alneeta Stanley and Katrina Brown, a son, Frederick Randolph Jones, three brothers, Marvin Jones, James Jones and Ernest Jones. She is also survived by a sister Jackie Jones Morris, four grandchildren, Rashaad Jones, D’Aldo Stanley, Sianna Stanley, Zack Brown also 2 special God Children, Michaiah Hawkins and Akeria Bethea.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday February 1 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service 3915 Oleander Drive. The funeral service will be at 2PM Tuesday February 2 at Miracle Rock Ministries Church at 2907 Blue Clay Road Castle Hayne, NC. The Rev. Lloyd Carmon will be officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
