She is survived by her mother Julia Coleman Smith of the home, her son, Lewis Smith of the home, Peggy and Jerry Dalley, her daughter and son in law, three grandchildren, two cousins and many friends.
Services will be private and in lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice or your local Hospice care center.
They would also encourage regular screenings for those who have a family history of cancer. The family will forever be grateful for the love, care and concern shown by the personnel and staff of Lower Cape Fear Hospice - particularly Dr Sumerlin. They are also grateful for the outpouring of love and concern shown by friends and family.
