Brenda Cribb Allen, born October 15, 1943, and passed on May 19, 2025. She was received today in heaven by Jesus. Like the song I can only imagine what its like. One day I will join you there. She is also greeted by my dad (Stacy), the love of her life and a lot more of her family and my dad’s family.
In life my mother was the greatest. She was so happy and easy-going. She loved her life, and she loved and adored her family, especially her great grandchildren.
When dad (Stacy) was alive they owned Instant Copies on 208 Princess St. They were located among a lot of lawyers in that area, that they did a lot of business for. After my dad passed in 2000, the business was closed, and mama went to work for 13 years in the kitchen at sheriff's Department that she oversaw.
My parents gave us the best life and everything we needed and mainly what we wanted. After Daddy died Mama was head of the family. I don’t know what we’d done without mama. She had a lot of us stay with her when we needed to. I believe we truly helped mama to continue to life and love even though she’d lost the love her life.
Mama read her bible every day and went to church on Sundays until she couldn’t go anymore, since mama found out she was terminal, she has lived with this with such grace and a smile still on her face. She says she is ok with it because she knows where she’s going to go and who she’s going to see. She is the one who is helping us cope with this, mama I speak for all of us we love, you are the greatest and we will miss you dearly.
Preceded in death by Roy (Stacy) Allen, Johnnie Wesley Cribb, Eva Lucy Norris Cribb and infant Kenneth Cribb. Sibling Willard Cribb, Eugen Cribb, Julian Cribb, Pat Cribb, Kenneth Cribb and Elwood Cribb.
She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Allen of home, Gloria Poe and Steven Poe of the home. Grandchildren: Trish Sandlin and husband John Sandlin, Amber Tackett and husband Will Tackett, Michael Reeves. Great grandchildren: Stacie Thompson, Trey Thompson, Ayden Tackett and Ashton Tackett and many nieces and nephews.
