She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Lee Floyd, and her mother, Magaline Tyler Floyd.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Roy Strawn, daughter Martha L. Strawn, and granddaughter Angela Leigh Strawn. She is also survived by her sisters, Larra Lynn Floyd and Teresa Floyd Stanley. Her nephew, Christopher J. Beasley, W. Earl Stanley, and her niece Brittnay A. Stanley.
A limb has fallen from the family tree that says don't grieve for me - for now, I'm whole. Remember the best of me. Remember the good life that I lived when I was strong.
We invite you to make a donation to your local animal shelter in her honor, in place of sending flowers.
We are in the process of arranging a celebration of life for her and will announce the details soon.
She fought a good fight. She has finished her course, and she kept her faith. She will be remembered with love and greatly missed by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday September 22, 2023 at a private family's home.
