Christopher Stuart Schmied

Mr. Schmied was a loving son, grandson and brother, and was in the process of returning to school to pursue a career in nursing. He had a great sense of humor and wonderful wit. Mr. Schmied loved music and loved to play the guitar and enjoyed movies and owned enough to stock a small video store.

In addition to Christopher’s parents he is survived by his step-mother; Kathy Schmied, a brother; Matthew R. Schmied, a sister; Kelsey M. Schmied, Step-Sisters, Karen Guerrette and Marie Clarrey, Grandmother; Donna Klunder, Uncles; Greg Klunder, Eric Klunder, and Glen Klunder; Aunt; Chrissy Klunder; numerous other uncles, aunts and cousins, and many other beloved friends and family.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 4:30pm to 5:30pm at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, 3915 Oleander Drive Wilmington, NC 28403.

A memorial service for Christopher will be held following the visitation at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service at 6:00pm.
