Eileen worked as the Accounts Receivable Manager for Metric Corporation in Hawthorne, NY before her and her husband, Toby, retired to East Otis, MA. In 2015 they moved to North Carolina to be closer to family.
Eileen was a homemaker, who loved to cook, bake and knit blankets for her loved ones.
Eileen was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Vatter; her mother, Ella Heinsohn, and her sister, Eleanor White.
Eileen leaves behind her husband of 64 years, Toby Hansen and their two daughters, Lori Nolan (Jim) and Barbara Hansen. Eileen loved her grandchildren, Mike Nolan (Cristin) and Katie Saas (Matt) and adored her great grandchildren: Madison, Landon and Callie.
While there is no planned service for Eileen at this time, a celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
