In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lina Anna (Ullrich) Deters; his son Dwight Deters; sister Cecile Zarrillo and two brothers, Delbert Deters and Don Deters.
Mr. Deters is survived by his son, Donald Deters and wife Marcela of Wilmington, NC, and brother Harold Deters of Garner, NC.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday February 5, 2021 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Life Care, Wilmington, NC.
