Genie Ramsey Fisher

She was born in Huntington, WV to the late Gene and Lucille Ramsey.

Genie worked as a flight attendant with Piedmont Airlines in the early 60’s. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She also enjoyed 50’s and Beach music.

In addition to her parents, Genie was preceded in death by two brothers, Nick and Joe Ramsey.

Survivors include her husband, W. H. “Billy” Fisher; daughter, Anna Parker (Jeff); son, Erik Selvia; sister, Virginia Combs (Chester); stepdaughter, Laura McQueen (Clark); grandchildren, Sam and Liza McQueen and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11am, Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Bellevue Cemetery, 1793 Princess Place Dr., Wilmington, NC 28401.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Dr., Wilmington, NC 28401.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Dr. John Boldizar and Dr. Charmaine Lewis for the excellent care they provided.
