Geraldine Margaret Bailey

Originally from Pa, she started her professional life in public relations for the Philadelphia Eagles and being accepted for the roller derby. Shortly after, she met the love of her life on a blind date and was engaged two hours thereafter.

She traveled the world with her husband, who was retired Air Force. She raised her family with flare and class, from the Philippines, Turkey and to England, finally settling as a resident of Wilmington, NC.

She is survived by her two daughters; Geri Perrott and Diane Bailey Beger and her husband David all of Wilmington; also five grandchildren, Scott, Charlotte and Lexie Perrott, Jessica Kaplan and Jennifer Beger and a great grandchild, Lily.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Friday April 19, 2013 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home followed by a Graveside Service at 12:00pm at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, NC.
