Gloria R Adams Gloria R Adams, 75 of Wilmington, NC, passed away at home on Saturday February 13, 2010 surrounded by the family who loved her. She was born May 20, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY daughter of the late Harold Mahler and Hazel Burst Mahler. Preceded in death by her sister June Mahler, and a brother Harold Mahler. Gloria worked as a Supervisory Compliance Officer with Merrill Lynch for over 30 years. In 2001, she moved to Wilmington from Massapequa, NY. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church and a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. She is survived by her loving husband, George Adams; two daughters Ruth Adams of London, England, Gail Murray of Toccoa, Georgia, two sons, George Adams of Wilmington, NC, and Robert Weber of New York, seven grandchildren, and a brother Bob Mahler of New York.
