Grady Cole Pierce

Grady Cole Pierce age 79 of Wilmington, died at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice House, on Saturday January 17,2015. Grady was born in Iredell County February 10th, 1935. He spent his career as a truck driver working in the transportation industry and had a love of sports, especially car races. Grady is survived by his wife Linda Pierce of the home, son Terry Cole Pierce, daughters Melody Polk and husband Sonny. Wanda Nesbitt. Elizabeth Pierce, and Star Shown and husband Keith (Fuzzy) Shown. Step-daughter Toni Thomas and husband Glen West and Amy Wood. Brother Donald Pierce and wife Norma, Sister Ruth Kosa, 10 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Cliff and June Blick, and HL Kluttz for being lifelong friend of Grady’s. A memorial service will be held Saturday January 24, at 3pm in the chapel of Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service. 2915 Oleander Dr. Wilmington NC.
