Helen Stevens Jordan, 66, of Castle Hayne passed away Tuesday October 9, 2012 at North Chase Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on May 27, 1946 in Duplin County to the late Fred and Sula Stevens. Also preceding her in death is her brother Donald Stevens. Helen is survived by her husband Robert Jordan; children, Jeffery Jordan (Bobbi), Marie Jordan and John Jordan (Jeannie); grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher, Buck, Brittany, Brian "Peanut" (Meagan) and Jaclyn;great grandchild Zachary; sibilings, Grace Beasley, Ann Bennett, Magdalene Blake and Betty Freaman. She worked at Brunswick County Finance Department for over 20 years. She was a loving wife and mother and above all she loved her grandchildren dearly. A visitation will be held from 6 pm - 8 pm, Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel. A graveside service will be at 11 am, Friday, October 12, 2012 at Sea Lawn Memorial Park.
