James Levin Todd

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Florrie Mintz Todd, granddaughter Carrie Davis, and great granddaughter Jo Katherine Edwards.

James worked at A&P grocery store for many years until owning his own restaurant, College Grill. He loved serving various positions at Bible Baptist Church (formally Park Avenue Baptist Church). He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and collecting anything you could think of, mostly guns.

James is survived by his daughters; Linda Foxbower (Jerry), Jane Suits (Jack), Sheryl Simmons (Jay), Joy Hackney (Rev. John), grandchildren: Karen James, Anna Simmons, Melissa Edwards (Patrick), Sara Criss (Billy), Becky Simmons, and Rebecca Hartsough (Jason), and eight great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm on February 4, 2022 at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will immediately follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Hanover Humane Society or Alzheimer's Association.
