Janet Branch Rice

Janet was born May 12, 1932 in Durham, NC. She was the daughter of the Late Rev. DW and Mamie Branch. Preceded in death by her daughter Julia Rice Davis and her son Julius Stephen Rice (Rosemarie).

She was a loving Mother of five, Linda Rice Miller (Don) of Las Vegas, NV. Myra Rice-Julin, NC, Roger DeWitt Rice (Wendy) all of Wilmington, NC. She was a Grandmother of 11 and Great Grandmother of 12; sister to Dewitt Branch (Naomi) and Erma Branch Stevens (Don).

There will be a graveside service held at 4 PM Wednesday July 8, 2015 at Greenlawn Memorial Park Wilmington.

Donations in Janet’s memory may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center at 1414 Physicians Dr. Wilmington, NC 28401 or flower tributes may be delivered to Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service at 3915 Oleander Dr., Wilmington, NC.
