

JEANNE REBECCA YOUNG TEMPLE
Jeanne Rebecca Young Temple, age 52, passed away on August 16, 2023 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care after extended ICU admissions at New Hanover Regional Medical Center and UNC Hospital for multiple organ failure.
Jeanne is survived by her son, C. Powell Temple of Wilmington, NC; her father, Roger L. Young, Sr; her brother, Roger (Rod) L. Young, Jr; her nephew, Roger (Woods) L. Young, III; and her nieces, Mayleigh Young and Betsy Young.
She was preceded in death by her mother Bonnie W. Young and her grandparents, H. Wilmer and Dorothy Miller of Wilmington and O. Linwood Young, Jr and Mary B. Young of Muncy Pennsylvania.
Jeanne was a 1989 graduate of Goldsboro High School in Goldsboro, NC. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1993, with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and Interior Design. She was married in 1996 and had one son.
Over a 30-year period following graduation, Jeanne worked in multiple fields related to interior design and decorating, including sales work in the kitchen and bathroom industry as well as designing and fabricating custom interior décor for private clients.
Jeanne was a beautiful and talented woman who connected well with everyone she met in the community or in the business world. Her bubbly personality was the hallmark of her being. It is said that she could talk to anyone on the telephone and very quickly establish a level of rapport usually reserved for long term friends.
The celebration of Jeanne’s life will be on Friday, September 29th in the Kenan Chapel at 510 Arboretum Dr., Wilmington, NC in the Landfall community at 11:00am.

The family takes great comfort in the assurance that Jeanne is now in heaven with her mother a awaiting the rest of the family to join them for eternity.
