Jessie Lee Frederick

Jessie was born January 07, 1929 to the late Charles Harper Roderick and Mabel Elizabeth Clay. Jessie was a member of Northside Church (Murray Memorial). She was a devoted mother, grandmother and wife. Jessie was her happiest taking care of people. She had a great love for the Lord and was not afraid to tell anyone about that love and what the Lord had done for her. She loved her trips with her church family and was especially fond of her Senior Pastor Rob Strickland. She loved to write poetry, sing, dance and was always the life of the room. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Mabel Elizabeth Carter and Gladys Mae Droze; three brothers: Charles Roderick Jr., George Roderick and Walter Roderick. She was also preceded in death by a son, Stacey Thomas Daughtry, her beloved step-father Thomas Oliver Murray; three spouses: James Garland Daughtry (1976), Robert Pete Mathis (1988) and Winfred T Frederick (2010) and her beautiful daughter in law Beth Daughtry (2023).

She is survived by her three children: James R "Peewee" Daughtry (Janet), Robert P Daughtry (Kellie) and Cynthia L Meadows (James); thirteen grandchildren: Mabel Daughtry, Ronda Royall (Bobby), Jessica Daughtry, Robert Daughtry Jr., Lee Lucas III (Kimberly), Michael Lucas (Tammy), Shannon Neeves (Matt), Noah Lucas and April Meadows; sixteen great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.

Our Moma will be missed, but we know she is in heaven dancing with Jesus.
