

She was born in Cullman County, AL, on August 6, 1924 the daughter of the late Woodfin G and Georgia Mae Davis. She was preceded in death by her sister, Thelma “Terry” Harkleroad, her brother Wallace Davis, and her infant daughter, Marie Eileen Gordon.
Juanita was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She enjoyed travel, good food, good music-especially performances of the Metropolitan Opera and the Cleveland Orchestra. Keeping active; golf, swimming, waterskiing, and any activity with children were her special pleasures. Her Love of reading led her to volunteer with literacy programs. She served as a Gray Lady helping children with cerebral palsy. She also gave her time to Meals on Wheels, The League of Woman Voters, and numerous church activities.
Above all else, Juanita was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, William Quaw Gordon, son, Keith Tuaw Gordon, daughters, Ellen Renee Gordon, Kim Louise Junod, granddaughter Rebecca Marie Junod, sister, Audrey Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services are pending in her home state. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center.
