He was born December 2, 1940, to the late Simeon Francis Lewis, Jr. and Flossie Mae Robbins Lewis.
Kenneth was born and raised in Wilmington, NC and graduated from New Hanover High School Class of 1959. He loved outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, gardening, golfing, and coached little league baseball. Kenneth retired after 40 years of service from International Paper in Riegelwood, NC, as an Assistant Superintendent. After retirement, Kenneth enjoyed many years of dancing the night away.
He is survived by his best friend and companion of eleven years Lougene Faulk; and sons, Kendall W Lewis, Steven C Lewis his wife Sonya and grandson Landon, Michael D Lewis, Philip D Lewis his wife Cheryl and grand-daughters Sydney and Savannah, Casey Lewis, Madison Ormond and extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 11am, Monday, December 2, 2024, at Andrews Valley Chapel.
The family will receive visitors one hour prior, beginning at 10am.
Entombment will follow the service at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
